To celebrate 70 years of the Constitution and our Republic, DAKSH organised several events between Constitution Day (November 26, 2019) and Republic Day (January 26, 2020). The objective of this campaign, called ‘REPUBLIC@70’ was to deepen our engagement with the Constitution and make it more relatable to ordinary Indians.

Judicial Data Collaborative

The DAKSH Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Law and Technology at IIT Delhi was established through an MoU signed on 9 October 2020 between Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and DAKSH Society, Bengaluru. The CoE will conduct interdisciplinary research to explore and understand various aspects of the justice system.

Vision Statement

This paper brings to the fore the need for vision statements for the judiciary in India. Vision statements, called by whatever name, are not meant only for setting aspirational goals for the judiciary.
